About This Event
The 9th Annual Pilgrim Pacer 5-K Run/Walk is hosted by the Rotary Club of LaGrange. Park in the lot just a few feet away, warm up on the indoor track, participate in pre-race aerobics conducted by the Greater LaGrange YMCA, use the school's heated rest room facilities. Technical long-sleeved t-shirt, goodie bag, age group and team trophies.
NEW THIS YEAR: Outdoor One-Mile Fun Run for those not quite ready to run or walk 3.1 miles! Not timed.
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: The Mini Pilgrim Pacer 100-Yard Dash for tots on the LTHS indoor track! There is no registration for this non-competitive jaunt...merely have your tot toe up to the start line.
PACKET PICKUP: Packets can be picked up early during pre-registration at Complete Rehabilitation, 507 South LaGrange Road, LaGrange, IL 708/354-9599 on Saturday 11/21/09 from 9:00AM-1:00PM or at the race registration tables the morning of the event, 11/22/09 from 7:00-8:15AM in the LTHS North Campus fieldhouse.
DOWNTOWN LA GRANGE: Enjoy a post-race stroll or breakfast in nearby LaGrange's quaint and historical downtown setting, recently named the #1 suburban downtown by Chicago Magazine.
THE COURSE
Loop course featuring only 7 turns on flat, asphalt streets through beautiful tree-lined residential area.

Overall male and female champion awards. 1st thru 3rd place team awards. 1st thru 3rd place age group awards for male and female runner divisions (no walk awards). Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

In consideration of your acceptance of this entry and other good and valuable consideration the receipt and adequacy of which I hereby acknowledge, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my family, my successors, assignees, heirs, executors and
administrators, forever waive, release and discharge any and all rights, claims for damage, causes of action whether in law, equity or otherwise, known or unknown, that I or any of them may have against the Chicago Area Runners Association, sponsors, coordinating groups and any individual associated with the Rotary Club of
La Grange Pilgrim Pacer 5-K Run/Walk (the "Event") for any and all injuries suffered by me in connection with said event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the
completion of the Event and that my physical condition has been certified by a licensed medical doctor. I am aware of the dangers and precautions that must be taken when running in warm or cold conditions and on uneven surfaces. I also agree to abide by any decision of an appointed race official or medical official relative to my ability to safely continue or complete the Event. I further assume and will pay my own medical and emergency expenses in case of an accident, illness or incapacity regardless of whether I have authorized such expenses. No entry will be accepted without an agreed-to Waiver of Liability.
