About This Event
The 10th Annual Turkey Trot is 5K run or walk through a Glenview residential neighborhood. The race is Nov. 23, 2006 at 8:15 a.m. and benefits Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook, serving 2,500 children annually. T-shirts, awards in eight age groups and great post-race breakfast. USATF Certified. A runner-friendly event! (Please no pets, strollers, running strollers, roller blades, skates, scooters or bikes.)
Entry Fees
Individual entry fee is $20 before November 10; $25 on Nov. 10 or later. Family rates are $50, $70 and $90 for families of three, four or five; increasing to $60, $80 and $100 on Nov. 10 or later.
Tall Trees Park is located at 1421 Sequoia Trail. The park is just West of Waukegan Road on Lake Avenue in Glenview. Turn North onto Tall Trees Road. You will enter The Tall Trees neighborhood (brick pillars mark entrance just East of Scott Foresman building). Bear right to Tall Trees Park on your right. Arrive early for better parking. Watch for race officials who will direct you to overflow parking.
Awards to top three male and female finishers and to top three finishers in male and female age groups: under 10, 10-15, 16-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 and older
Mile markers, water at start/finish, post-race breakfast, porta-potties, professional finish line, results posted on www.kompusport.com on race day. (Please no pets, strollers, running strollers, roller blades, skates, scooters or bikes.)
Packet Pick-up
Packet pick up will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 22 at 1501 Blackthorn Drive in the Tall Trees subdivision. Follow the directions to the race. After turning onto Tall Tree Road take the first left, onto Blackthorn Drive. 1501 is the 13th house on the right. Avoid the lines on race morning and pick up your packet the day before. (Packets will be available at the race.)
There is NO Race Day Registration. Registration will close at 450 runners. Don't wait. Registration will close before the race. Registration is likely to close on Friday Nov. 17. Please check this site for updates leading up to the race.

Waiver and Release
In consideration of the foregoing, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns, waive and release any and all rights, claims and causes of action I have or may have against The Tall Trees Association of Glenview, all sponsors of the Tall Trees Turkey Trot and their affiliates, their agents, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns, the individual organizers of the Tall Trees Turkey Trot, and the owners of all parking lots, and their agents, representatives, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns, as a result of my participation in The Tall Trees Turkey Trot and any pre- and post- event activities. I understand that running or walking in this race is physically demanding and I attest and verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising.
