THE 2011 ONEAMERICA 500 FESTIVAL MINI-MARATHON
The 2011 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is now SOLD OUT. The event will be held on May 7, 2011 at 7:30 am (EDT) in Downtown Indianapolis. The 500 Festival is now celebrating the 35th running of the nation's largest half-marathon! This premier event features a lap around the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indianapolis 500, Red Bull Indianapolis GP, and Brickyard 400.
THE 2011 FINISH LINE 500 FESTIVAL 5K
The Finish Line 500 Festival 5K is now SOLD OUT. This is a fun run event before the Mini-Marathon at 7am (EDT). Experience all the excitement of the Mini-Marathon with the same start and finish lines!
The OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Finish Line 500 Festival 5K will provide technical shirts for participants. Technical shirts are designed to wick moisture away from your body and keep you dry and warm during runs.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Registration (Mail-in or On-line) will close no later than January 31, 2011. Regardless, registration WILL CLOSE if the maximum field of 35,000 participants has been reached before the date listed.
CLOSE OF REGISTRATION (5K):
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Registration (Mail-in or On-line) will close no later than March 31, 2011. Regardless, registration WILL CLOSE if the maximum field of 4,000 participants has been reached before the date listed.
All entries are non-refundable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate.
ONLINE REGISTRATION FEE
Signmeup has been contracted by the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Finish Line 500 Festival 5K to provide this online registration service. Signmeup charges a modest transaction fee that will be revealed in the Summary of Charges prior to your credit card transaction on the payment page.
TIME LIMITThe Mini-Marathon has a time limit of 4 hours (18 minute per mile pace).
The 5K has a time limit of 56 minutes (18 minute per mile).
Participants must be able to maintain the 18 minute per mile pace or they will be required to board the trail bus. This limit allows our volunteers to clean and clear the course prior to the streets being open to traffic. The 18 minute per mile time limit begins when the last participant crosses the start line! The 500 Festival reserves the right to remove any participant from the course.
5K PREFERRED START CORRAL
5K participants who want to start at the front of the 5K field have an opportunity to be assigned to the 5K Preferred Start corral. To be assigned to the 5K Preferred Start corral, you must provide proof that you can run a 5K in 30 minutes or faster. You must provide proof from a race that you have run between May 8, 2010 and March 7, 2011 (the 5K and 10K 500 Festival Training Series events can be used for Preferred Start proof). Proof must be mailed or emailed to the 500 Festival, postmark deadline is March 9, 2011. Please highlight your name and time. Please mail proof to: 500 Festival, Seeding Proof, 21 Virginia Avenue, Suite 500, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
There will be NO RACEDAY packet pickup! All participants will be required to pickup their packets, race number and timing device at the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon Expo.
EXPO HOURS: Thursday, May 5, 2011 (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and Friday, May 6, 2011 (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.). All times are Eastern Daylight Savings Time. Bib numbers and participant packets will not be mailed.

The participant acknowledges that the registration is only a license to participate in the event. There is no guarantee as to quality or any element of the scheduled event, that the scheduled event may be cancelled, shortened or altered due to weather, other acts of God, terrorism, or for any other reasons within or not within the control of the 500 Festival in whole or in part, and there are no refunds for any reason whatsoever, and the registrant understands that these terms are a condition of the entry fee and agrees to register subject to these terms.
Waiver and Release
OneAmerica 500 FESTIVAL MINI-MARATHON AND FINISH LINE 500 FESTIVAL 5K AND 500 FESTIVAL TRAINING SERIES, presented by OrthoIndy WAIVER-REQUIRED (If UNDER 18 years of age your Parent or Legal Guardian must also read and agree to this Waiver and Release) I have read the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Finish Line 500 Festival 5K entry form completely and understand the policies of the events. I know that participating in a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not participate unless I am medically and physically able to do so, and it is my sole responsibility to determine if I am medically and physically able to participate in the event. I understand the nature of the event and I ASSUME ALL RISKS associated with my voluntary participation in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including extreme temperatures and precipitation and traffic. Knowing these facts, I, for myself, heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might make a claim on my behalf, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, WAIVE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST, AND FULLY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE OneAmerica Financial Partners, Inc., Finish Line, Inc., OrthoIndy, 500 Festival, Inc. any and all sponsors affiliated with the 2011 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, 2011 Finish Line 500 Festival 5K and 2011 500 Festival Mini-Marathon Training Series, presented by OrthoIndy, State of Indiana, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, NCAA/NCAA Hall of Champions, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC, the City of Indianapolis, the Town of Speedway, Tuxedo Brothers, Inc., ChronoTrack, Burns Computer Services, race participants, race officials, workers, volunteers, and any and all officers, directors, employees and other representatives of the foregoing, and any successors or assigns of the foregoing (collectively, the “Releasees”) for ANY AND ALL claims or liability, including without limitation the sole or contributory negligence of any or all the Releasees, whether foreseen or unforeseen, for death, personal injury (whether temporary or permanent), or property damage arising out of, or in the course of, my participation in this event. I understand and agree that information about me, including information on this form, may be provided to third parties for any legitimate purpose, including commercial marketing purposes. I further grant full permission to the 500 Festival and the Releasees, and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, or other record of the event for any reasonable purpose.
