Directions to the Race Site
From Portland, take I-5 North to Vancouver, WA. After crossing the I-5 bridge into Vancouver take exit 1C (Mill Plain). Turn right onto E Mill Plain, then take your first left onto Ft Vancouver Way. Clark College will be on your right after crossing McLoughlin Blvd. Take your first right into the parking lot—all spaces are open to participants.

From Vancouver, go to Clark College (it’s in W Vancouver close to downtown). Use Google, seriously.

Start Times
8:30AM 5K WALK, 9:00AM 5K RUN, 9:30AM KIDS 1K
The hovde 5K starts and finishes at the Clark College Athletics Building in Vancouver, WA and includes a loop around Fort Vancouver. The event is on paved roads and includes a finish and start on grass.

Age Groups and Awards
No age group awards will be given, but results will be posted in the following age groups for the 5k run only for men and women: 12 years & under, 13- 15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 years and over.

The 5k walk will be timed but no awards will be given.

Awards will be presented, at the conclusion of each race, to the top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers.

Packet Pick-Up
Pre-Race Packet Pick-up/Registration: All assigned bib numbers will be handed out the day of the event. Please show up at least 30 minutes prior to your event to packet pickup.

Day-Of-Race Packet Pickup/Registration: Day of race registration is $30 instead of $25 for the 5K walk and run.

I know that participating in an organized athletic event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter to participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.
