Event Location
Battle Creek ANG Base, 3367 W. Dickman Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037 **Take I-94 to the Helmer Road exit, proceed north to Dickman Road, turn left onto Dickman Road. Approximately ½ mile down the road on your left will be the entrance to the base. Ensure you have a valid ID with you. Random searches of vehicles are also possible. Be prepared for delays so come early.
Event Times
Registration and packet pickup on the day of the race is 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Race will commence at 9:00 a.m.
Run at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base and experience a view that not many people get to see. This is a closed course, so no traffic. Run down two taxi ways that the C-21 Aircraft taxi on every day. It is a mostly paved challenging course with a bridge that adds a hill for the 10K runners that joins the east and west property.
Entry Fees

All pre-registered entrants will receive a high quality long sleeve shirt in men’s and women’s sizes. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee a shirt on race day to those who register late. Prizes will go to the overall male/female winners in each event, a Masters Overall (+40) in the 5K and 10K run event only and to the 1st place male/female finishers in each age group.

Waiver and Release
The above signed athlete on behalf of himself/herself and on behalf of athlete’s personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and executors, hereby fully and forever releases,waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the Michigan Air National Guard and the United States Air Force and whose property and/or personnel are used and all other sponsoring or co-sponsoring companies or individuals related to the Road Hawg Classic (collectively “Releasees”) from all liability to the athlete and his/her personal representatives, assigns, heirs and executors, for all loss(es) or damage(s) and any and all claims or demands therefore, on account of injury to the athlete or property or resulting in the death of the athlete, whether caused by the active or passive negligence of all or any of the Releasees or otherwise, in connection with the athlete’s participation in the Road Hawg Classic. *The athlete represents and warrants that he/she is in good physical condition and is able to safely participate in the Road Hawg Race. The athlete is fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in participating in the Road Hawg Classic and hereby elects to voluntarily compete in the 5K/10K Road Hawg, knowing the risks associated with the Road Hawg Race. The athlete hereby assumes all risks of loss(es), damage(s) or injury(ies) that may be sustained by him/her while participating in the Road Hawg Race. *The athlete agrees to the use of his/her name and photograph in broadcasts, newspapers, brochures and other media without compensation. *The athlete acknowledges that the entry fee is non-transferable and in the event the Road Hawg Race is delayed or prevented by reason of fire, threatened or actual strike, labor difficulty, work stoppage, insurrection, war, public disaster, acts of terrorism, flood, unavoidable casualty, acts of God or the elements (including without limitation, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes) or any other cause there shall be no refund of the entry fee or any other costs of the athlete in connection with the Road Hawg Classic. *The athlete acknowledges that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. *The athlete warrants that all statements made herein are true and correct and understands that Releasees have relied on them in allowing athlete to participate in the Road Hawg Classic. If athlete is under age 18: The signed certifies that my son/daughter has my permission to participate in the Road Hawg Classic. The undersigned has read the foregoing RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT (above paragraph) and by signing intentionally and voluntarily agrees to its terms and conditions. The undersigned further certifies that my son/daughter is in good physical condition and is able to safely participate in the Road Hawg Classic. I hereby authorize medical treatment for him/her and grant access to my child’s medical records as necessary. This includes Greatlakes Champion Chip personnel.
