About This Event
The 48th Annual Trinidad to Clam Beach run is presented by the Greater Trinidad Chamber of Commerce. A portion of the profits support the Greater Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. One of the most beautiful, scenic events you will experience.
There is a Family Rate available (for 4 or more partipants) of $20 per participant on or before December 31st, $25 per participant after January 1, 2014. This rate is not available when registering On-line. You must use the Mail-in form available at website: and must be postmarked no later than January 18, 2014.
Timing for this race will be done using the MYLAPS “Chip on the Bib”. Please note the following to ensure you are using this Timing Chip properly:
• You must wear your bib. Please wear it on your front (shirt, shorts, or racebelt). NOTE! It is preferable that you wear the bib so that the number is visible from the front so that you can be identified by the photographer.
• DO NOT crumple or fold the bib as this will break the transponder antenna
• DO NOT place the bib between your body and your child’s (i.e. this is what happens when you carry your child when finishing the race). This action will prevent the transponder from sending its signal.
• DO NOT remove your shirt and carry it folded up in your hand. This action may prevent the transponder from sending its signal if the bib itself is folded or inside your moist shirt.
• The Timing Chip is disposable so no need to return it after the race. If you wish to RECYCLE the TIMING CHIP please leave it affixed to the bib and turn in the entire bib at the finish line.

Waiver and Release
I wish to participate in the Trinidad-Clam Beach Run/Walk and I realize that the event is physically strenuous, that there may be adverse weather and water conditions, and there may be vehicles present on the course and at intersections. I nevertheless wish to compete and assume the risks involved. I certify that I am in good health and I have trained adequately to finish this event. I authorize the event to provide medical attention for me. I assume the risk of any injury at the crowded start or on the course. I give up any claims for injuries that I sustain, including death, and agree to hold harmless the Greater Trinidad Chamber of Commerce, its sponsors and anyone connected with the race. I agree to pay my medical and emergency expenses for any illness or injury I sustain. I agree that the race organizers may use any photograph taken of me for any purpose whatsoever, without compensation. I further agree that baby strollers, dogs, bicycles, headsets or any other such items which may present a hazard are prohibited. I have read and understand this agreement. I am making this agreement and paying my entry fee in exchange for the privilege of competing in this event and using the facilities provided by the race. If the race is cancelled due to circumstances beyond control of the Greater Trinidad Chamber of Commerce, entry fees will not be refunded; however, all entrants will receive a T-shirt.
I understand and agree to the waiver and release*
