Water Stations
Finishers cannot get enough water! Provide water for participants on the course as they complete their journey.

Packet Pick-Up
Be a part of the anticipation and excitement before the big race! Athletes pick up event information, race bib numbers and participant shirt at Packet Pick-Up. Help by passing out t-shirts and race information!
Saturday, October 19: Packet Pick-Up Shift 2:00-4:30 PM. Southridge Mall
Help out in the Post-Race Party area with bobbing for apples, costume contest, pumpkin contest, potato sack races and much more!
Saturday, October 19: Games 2:30 -7:00 PM. Whitnall Park
Are you a vocal person who can help direct participants? This is just the role for you! Shuttle volunteers will help get participants on the buses to race site and back.
Saturday, October 19: Shuttles 2:00-7:00 PM. Southridge/Whitnall Park
Course Marshals/Kids' Race
Serve as course marshal directing participants along the route. Be there to support them and cheer them on at one of the many locations along the route. Details will be provided at orientation and as volunteers are dropped off at their specific location. You will also be assisting with the Kids' Run at different turnaround points.

Start Line/Finish Line Volunteers
Help prepare the starting line for all the participants, then transition to the finish line to assist with food, water and medals! Be the first to see the many walkers and runners as they come across the Finish Line. Be a part of the finish celebration! As they finish, we need your help to guide them through the finish line handing out medals, bottled water and post-race food.

Waiver and Release
I know that volunteering for a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run or walk. I also know that while police protection will be provided, there may be traffic on the course. I assume all risks associated with my voluntary participation in this event, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather (including extreme cold, snow and ice), traffic, and the conditions on the road with all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Knowing these facts, and in consideration of my accepted entry, I for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and WAIVE, RELEASE and DISCHARGE: Vision Event Management LLC, Big Dogs Events INC, Razor Sharp Minds, The State of Wisconsin, Village of Greendale, Milwaukee County Parks, Milwaukee County Parks, Southridge Limited Partnership, a Delaware Limited Partnership and their representatives, successors, or assigns from ANY AND ALL claims or liabilities, whether foreseen or unforeseen, for death, personal injury, or property damage arising out of, or in the course of, my participation in this event. I further grant full permission to the event coordinators and volunteers and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or other record of the event for any reasonable purpose. I understand that my entry is non-refundable.
